12 days until I am scheduled to leave Pole. Must not think about not having a job, must only think of my vacation. My vacation that will destroy my savings...nope can't think about that either.

Tell her congrats on winning the poleathelon?? Who knows in a few years you guys may have a few little "penquins" running around!
It's been fun to follow your adventures in a cold land, and, yes, if you think it's warm out there today, you have indeed lost your mind. I hope both of you enjoy that long break and maybe we'll see you again some day slumming around campus.
Jeremy, thank you for sharing.. It would be tough to find any that could have done a better job mixing business with pleasure..I now have adopted purdy as my word for the south pole thanks to you. Best of luck. I suspect thousands have followed the blogs. In the British tradition of showing on film the goings on down there I have to say ...Excellent Job! sorry if I spelled wrong, Im too tired to check..btw I hope that silly penguin made bail ..or escaped...
